EIA NG STORAGE REPORT The EIA reported a +91 bcf storage injection for the week ending October 8, in line with the Bloomberg median expectation of a +92 bcf build. The build exceeded last year’s build of +60 bcf and the +64 bcf 5-year average. The build continues to indicate looser balances than had prevailed last month, though not quite as loose as those indicated by last week’s EIA report. EIA NG STORAGE REPORT The EIA reported a +74 bcf net injection for the week ending September 24, above the Bloomberg median expectation of a +68 bcf build. The build exceeded last year’s +65 bcf and the +67 bcf 5-year average. In our view, this is the most bearish weekly report in some time. EIA NG STORAGE REPORT The EIA reported a +73 bcf net injection for the week ending September 17, below the Bloomberg median expectation of a +80 build. However, the build surpassed last year’s +66 bcf and the +70 bcf 5-year average. The weather was slightly cooler on the week (40 CDDs for the week compared to 46 CDDs the prior week) but power demand rebounded by 3.3% following the holiday. EIA NG STORAGE REPORT The EIA reported a +103 bcf net injection for the week ending September 10, well above the Bloomberg median expectation of +93 build. The build surpassed last year’s +69 bcf and the +77 bcf 5-year average. The weather was much cooler on the week (46 CDDs for the week compared to 70 CDDs the prior week) and the holiday effect helped to drag down power demand by -12.0%.
