Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended September 09. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent and WTI , but decreased in natural gas, heating oil and gasoline during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas fell by -30.2k to +102.3k in futures and decreased by -29.0k to +202.4.....

Baker Hughes shows 1,930 active rigs as of September 12, 2014, higher by +6 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +8 to 1,592 (ht: +16; vt-dir: -8) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -2 to 338 (ht: -7; vt-dir: +5). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +3 to 234 whereas vertical/directional rigs decreased by -4 to 201 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +1 to 20 in Granite Wash (TX).

Propane: US propane inventories decreased by -78k bbl to 76.0m bbl for the week ended September 5, 2014. PADD 3 inventories dropped -1%, or -601k bbl, to 41.0m bbl. PADD 2 stocks increased +2% or by +638k bbl to 26.2m bbl. In PADD 1, stocks fell -3% or -162k bbl to 5.7m bbl. Oil rigs increased by +9 to 1,584 (ht: -2; vt-dir: +11) while gas-directed rigs increased by +2 to 340 (ht: +5; vt-dir: -3). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -2 to 231 whereas vertical/directional oil rigs increased by +4 to 205 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +2 to 30 in Marcellus ( SWPA ).
