Distillate inventories grew by +338k bbl and gasoline inventories decreased by -2807k bbl. Baker Hughes shows 1,767 active rigs as of February 21, 2014, higher by +7 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +2 to 1,425 (ht: -5; vt-dir: +7) while gas-directed rigs increased by +5 to 342 (ht: +4; vt-dir: +1). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -2 to 153 in the Bakken (ND) and increased by +5 to 181 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +1 to 25 in the Marcellus ( SWPA ).

Propane: US propane inventories fell by -1.2m bbl to 26.7m bbl for the week ended February 14, 2014, which is -12.6m bbl below the five-year average. PADD 3 inventories fell by -3%, or -533k bbl, to 15.1m bbl. PADD 2 stocks fell -2%, or -137k bbl, to 8.8m bbl, which is 5.1m bbl below the five-year average. In PADD 1, stocks fell by -18% or -353k bbl to stand at 1.6m bbl. Implied demand sank -18% to 1.38 mb/d; imports decreased by -27% to 155 kb/d and production decreased -2% to 1.40 mb/d.....

Baker Hughes shows 1,760 active rigs as of February 14, 2014, lower by -7 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +7 to 1,423 (ht: +12; vt-dir: -5), while gas-directed rigs decreased by -14 to 337 (ht: -5; vt-dir: -9). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +6 to 176 in Permian (TX), and vertical/directional oil rigs increased by +6 in Monterey (CA) to 23, while horizontal gas-directed rigs decreased by -2 to 19 in the Marcellus ( NEPA ).
