Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended November 26. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil during the reference week. Propane: US propane inventories fell by -1.4m bbl to 56.9m bbl for the week ended November 22, 2013, which is -7.2m bbl below the five-year average. PADD 3 inventories fell for the ninth consecutive week, this time by -0.8m bbl and PADD 2 stocks by -0.6m bbl. Implied demand decreased -8.8% to 1.52 mb/d; imports jumped +9.8% to 134 kb/d and production was slightly higher at 1.47 mb/d last week.

Baker Hughes shows 1,758 active rigs as of November 27, 2013, higher by +2 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +4 to 1,391 (ht: -1; vt-dir: +5) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -2 to 367 (ht: +1; vt-dir: -3). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +5 to 40 in areas of Oklahoma not currently identified with an established resource play and decreased by -2 to 90 in the Anadarko (OK). EIA reported a -13 bcf withdrawal for the week ending November 22 (Bloomberg median -13 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: -11 bcf). The 24 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from -21 bcf to -1 bcf with a standard deviation of 4 bcf. Our model showed -6 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted HDDs decreased by -17 to 121. Baker Hughes shows 1,756 active rigs as of November 22, 2013, higher by +1 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +2 to 1,387 (ht: +13; vt-dir: -11) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 369 (ht: +1; vt-dir: -2). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +7 to 185 in the Eagle Ford (TX) and by +4 to 40 in the Anadarko (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +4 to 24 in the Marcellus (WV) but fell by -2 to 13 in the Eagle Ford.

EIA reported a -45 bcf withdrawal for the week ending November 15 (Bloomberg median -38 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: -40). The 25 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from -45 bcf to -22 bcf with a standard deviation of 6 bcf. Our model showed -39 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted HDDs increased by +35 to 138, while nationwide electricity-weighted cooling degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -2 to 3 CDDs. In Focus: Louisiana ethane demand With 26% of US ethylene capacity located in Louisiana and with multiple plant conversions and expansions under construction for 2015 completion, local ethane demand is seen increasing by 230 kb/d over the next two years.
