Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended November 12. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials decreased net length in natural gas, Brent and heating oil, but increased in WTI and gasoline during the reference week. Non-commercials decreased net length in natural gas by -23.1 to +79.1k in futures and by -19.5 to +143.5k in futures a.....

Baker Hughes shows 1,755 active rigs as of November 15, 2013, higher by +7 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +2 to 1,385 (ht: -2; vt-dir: +4) and gas-directed rigs increased by +5 to 370 (ht: +2; vt-dir: +3). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -6 to 53 in areas of Texas not currently identified with an established resource play and increased by +4 to 148 in the Bakken (ND).

EIA reported a +20 bcf injection for the week ending November 8 (Bloomberg median +23 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +21). The 26 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +2 bcf to +33 bcf with a standard deviation of 6 bcf. Our model showed +16 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted HDDs increased by +1 to 103, while nationwide electricity-weighted cooling degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -2 to 5 CDDs. Total US: +20 bcf ( LCMC : +16 bcf, Bloomberg median: +23 bcf) East: +10 bcf West.....

Baker Hughes shows 1,748 active rigs as of November 8, 2013, higher by +12 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +7 to 1,383 (ht: +9; vt-dir: -2) and gas-directed rigs increased by +5 to 365 (ht: +1; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +9 to 143 in the Permian (TX) and by +5 to 177 Eagle Ford (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs fell by -2 to 15 in the Eagle Ford (TX) but increased by +1 to 19 and 16 in the Marcellus ( SWPA ) and Ohio, respectively.

Please note our extended U.S. and Canada tables covering the withdrawal season are included in the attachment. EIA reported a +35 bcf injection for the week ending November 1 (Bloomberg median +36 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +36). Commitments of Traders Report – November 6, 2013
Today, the CFTC published its fifth Commitments of Traders ( COT ) report since the U.S. government shutdown. It includes data for reported date of October 29, and was originally scheduled to be published on November 1. As ICE data was published without interruption, today’s report includes all activity through October 29. The CFTC will resume its normal reporting schedule on November 8 when it publishes the November 5 dated report. Please find attached data and charts detailing the lat.....

In Focus: Gulf coast fractionation expansions Nearly 250 kb/d of fractionation capacity has come online at Mont Belvieu since September, including Enterprise’s train 7, Oneok’s MB-2, and recently a second Lone Star train. Enterprise hopes to bring an eighth, 100 kb/d train online before the end of the year. Through 2015, another 445 kb/d of fractionation capacity is expected to be built at Mont Belvieu that will work to process the influx of y-grade coming in from as far away as the Bakken a.....
