U.S. crude oil inventories fell by -2492k bbl in the week ended January 12, while Cushing stocks declined by -2099k bbl. Distillate inventories increased by +2370k bbl and gasoline inventories grew by +3083k bbl. Major data points: Crude oil inventories: Declined by -2.49m bbl (vs. the API estimate of +0.48m bbl).
