*Expanded Coverage* of the Commitments of Traders Report – December 9, 2013
We are expanding our total market natural gas coverage by adding two new contracts: NYMEX Natural Gas Last Day Financial and ICE Natural Gas Penultimate. The ICE Natural Gas Penultimate contract was converted from an OTC swap to a futures contract in November 2012, however, despite its size, the CFTC began reporting data for this contract on May 7, 2013. Upon our inquiry, the CFTC responded that the Commission “had the confidence in the data to report it” on that date. Please f.....

Commitments of Traders Report – November 6, 2013
Today, the CFTC published its fifth Commitments of Traders ( COT ) report since the U.S. government shutdown. It includes data for reported date of October 29, and was originally scheduled to be published on November 1. As ICE data was published without interruption, today’s report includes all activity through October 29.
