US: Baker Hughes shows 1002 active rigs as of April 06, 2018, higher by +11 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +11 to 808 (ht: +17; vt-dir: -6), and gas-directed rigs were unchanged at 194 (ht: -2; vt-dir: +2). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +9 in Anadarko (OK), by +4 in Eagle Ford (TX), by +2 in Permian (NM), by +1 in Anadarko (KS), by +1 in Bakken (ND) and by +1 in Other areas not associated with a specific play, while declining by -1 in Permian (TX). OPEC and Non- OPEC supply-cut deal participants covered in our report are Angola, Iraq, Equatorial Guinea, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. May NSea loadings will fall to 1.66 mb/d driven by lower Norwegian volumes, while May WAF loadings are expected to inch up to 4,066 kb/d. March Iraqi Basrah crude loadings declined slightly to 3,441 kb/d, but up by +148 kb/d YoY.
