Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended August 09. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent and gasoline , but decreased in natural gas, gasoil, heating oil and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas fell by -18.1k to +171.3k in futures and decreased by -15.....

Baker Hughes shows 479 active rigs as of August 12, 2016, higher by +17 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +15 to 396 (ht: +12; vt-dir: +3), while gas-directed rigs decreased by +2 to 83 (ht: +1; vt-dir: +1). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +11 in Permian (TX). Horizontal gas rigs increased by +1 in Ohio.

Oil rigs increased by +7 to 381 (ht: +8; vt-dir: -1), while gas-directed rigs decreased by -5 to 81 (ht: unch; vt-dir: -5). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +4 in Eagle Ford (TX) and by +3 in Permian (NM). Horizontal gas rigs increased by +1 in Haynesville (TX) while decreasing by -1 in Marcellus (WV).
