U.S. crude oil inventories fell by -3882k bbl in the week ended May 01, while Cushing stocks decreased by -12k bbl. Distillate inventories rose by +1503k bbl and gasoline inventories increased by +401k bbl. Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended April 28. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in heating oil, Brent and gasoline , but decreased in natural gas and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas declined by -28.3k to -88.1k in futures and decreased by -31.1k to -50.4k .....

Baker Hughes shows 901 active rigs as of May 01, 2015, lower by -27 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -24 to 679 (ht: -11; vt-dir: -13) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -3 to 222 (ht: -10; vt-dir: +7). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -7 to 83 in the Eagle Ford (TX) and vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -6 to 48 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs decreased by -2 to 14 in Haynesville (LA).

Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -8 to 136 and vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -1 to 54 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +2 to 16 in Haynesville (LA).
