Baker Hughes shows 1,856 active rigs as of June 20, 2014, higher by +4 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +3 to 1,545 (ht: +4; vt-dir: -1) while gas-directed rigs increased by +1 to 311 (ht: -2; vt-dir: +3). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +5 to 196 in the Eagle Ford (TX) and by +3 to 211 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs decreased by -2 to 22 in Marcellus ( SWPA ).

Propane: US propane inventories increased by +2.0m bbl to 51.2m bbl for the week ended June 13, 2014. PADD 3 inventories increased +6%, or +1.5m bbl, to 28.7m bbl. PADD 2 stocks were unchanged at 16.6m bbl. In PADD 1, stocks jumped +11% or +374k bbl to 3.8m bbl. Implied demand increased +23% to 934 kb/d; imports increased +38% to 76 kb/d and production fell -3% to 1.46 mb/d last week. U.S. crude oil inventories declined by -579k bbl in the week ended June 13, while Cushing stocks grew by +247k bbl. Distillate inventories increased by +436k bbl and gasoline inventories rose by +785k bbl. Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended June 10. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent and WTI , but decreased in natural gas, heating oil and gasoline during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas declined by -1.2k to +316.6k in futures and fell by -3.0k to +434.8k in fut.....

The number of oil rigs increased by +6 at 1,542 (ht: +6; vt-dir: 0) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -10 to 310 (ht: -8; vt-dir: -2). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +2 to 191 in the Eagle Ford (TX) and the vertical/directional oil rigs increased by +5 to 13 in the Anadarko (OK). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +3 to 22 in Marcellus ( NEPA ).
