Horizontal oil rigs went down by -2 in Bakken (ND) and by -2 in Permian (NM), while going up by +2 in Eagle Ford (TX). STATS shows 1,892 active rigs as of April 13, 2012, down -1 rig from a week ago. Oil rigs went down by -1 (ht: -4, vt-dir: +3) and total gas rigs were unchanged (ht: +2, vt-dir: -2). Horizontal oil rigs went up by +8 in Eagle Ford (TX), followed by +2 in Permian (TX), while falling by -4 in Bakken (ND) and -3 in Anadarko (TX). Horizontal gas rigs went up by +5 in Barnett (TX), followed by +3 in Eagle Ford (TX), while falling by -3 in Haynesville (LA) and -3 in Marcellus ( NEPA ).
