US: Baker Hughes shows 759 active rigs as of August 05, 2022, lower by -3 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -7 to 598 (ht: -3; vt-dir: -4), and gas-directed rigs increased by +4 to 161 (ht: +4; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +2 in Permian (TX), by +1 in Bakken (ND) and by +1 in Other areas not associated.....

Good morning, Please find below a recap of the DOE’s weekly crude stats and a link to our detailed tables. U.S. crude oil inventories grew by +4467k bbl in the week ended July 29, while Cushing stocks rose by +926k bbl. Distillate inventories decreased by -2400k bbl and gasoline inventories grew by +163k bbl. Major data points: Crude oil inventories: Rose by +4.47m bbl (vs. the API estimate of +2.16m bbl).
