Good morning, Please find below a recap of the DOE’s weekly crude stats and a link to our detailed tables. U.S. crude oil inventories decreased by -6065k bbl in the week ended December 25, while Cushing stocks rose by +27k bbl. Distillate inventories grew by +3095k bbl and gasoline inventories declined by -1192k bbl. Major data points: Crude oil inventories: Decreased by -6.07m bbl (vs. the API estimate of -4.88m bbl). US: Baker Hughes shows 347 active rigs as of December 23, 2020, higher by +3 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +1 to 264 (ht: unch; vt-dir: +1), and gas-directed rigs increased by +2 to 83 (ht: +2; vt-dir: unch).
