Dear Wasde Key points: The USDA took a more aggressive stance than normal for an August WASDE report in terms of production estimates. Here are t hree key points to remember for now : 1. US corn : based on crop conditions as of 1 August 1, the USDA expects corn yields to average 174.6 bushels per harvested acre, which is down from the July estimate at 179.5 bushels and only 2.6 bushels above last year.
