U.S. crude oil inventories declined by -3832k bbl in the week ended January 02, while Cushing stocks grew by +728k bbl. Distillate inventories increased by +5594k bbl and gasoline inventories grew by +7702k bbl. Major data points: Crude oil inventories: Declined by -3.83m bbl (vs. the API estimate of -2.80m bbl).
