U.S. crude oil inventories declined by -1753k bbl in the week ended May 12, while Cushing stocks grew by +35k bbl. Distillate inventories decreased by -1944k bbl and gasoline inventories declined by -413k bbl. We also remind our clients that in-depth analysis of DOE weekly petroleum statistical releases can be conducted using the “Commodities Analytical Toolkit” in the Data Portal section of our website ( www.lcmc-research.com ). Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended May 09. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas , but decreased in Brent, gasoline, gasoil, heating oil and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas declined by -0.4k to +444.7k in futures and grew by +0.4k to +5.....

Baker Hughes shows 884 active rigs as of May 12, 2017, higher by +8 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +9 to 712 (ht: +9; vt-dir: unch), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 172 (ht: -1; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +8 in Permian (TX), by +1 in Eagle Ford (TX) and by +1 in Bakken (ND), while decreasing by -1 in Anadarko (OK). Horizontal gas rigs decreased by -2 in Woodford (Arkoma), by -1 in Marcellus ( SWPA ) and by -1 in Haynesville (TX), while increasing by +.....

Announced OPEC and Non- OPEC production cuts went into effect on January 1, 2017. Production cuts may not immediately result in lower loading volumes, but market participants are closely monitoring 1H 2017 loadings. OPEC and Non- OPEC participants covered in our report are Angola, Iraq, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Equatorial Guinea. June NSea loadings will fall to 1.96 mb/d (-128 kb/d MoM), while WAF programs are expected to inch up to 3.91 mb/d (+32 kb/d MoM). May Iraqi Basrah.....
