Distillate inventories grew by +2364k bbl and gasoline inventories decreased by -633k bbl. Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended April 9, 2013. We focus on net length of non-commercial traders as well as net length of money managers and swap dealers as indicated in the disaggregated data for WTI , natural gas, gasoline, and heating oil. STATS shows 1,675 active rigs as of April 12, 2013, lower by -24 for the week. Rigs drilling for oil decreased by -2 to 1,337 (ht: -9; vt-dir: +7) and gas rigs fell by -22 to 338 (ht: -16; vt-dir: -8). STATS showed that horizontal oil rigs jumped by +6 and +5 in the Anadarko (OK) and Eagle Ford (TX) to 99 and 191, respectively, but declined by -3 to 188 in the Bakken (ND). Horizontal gas rigs declined in most US shale plays, including by -2 to 15 in the Eagle Ford (TX) and by -3 to 23 in the .....
