Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended December 13. We focus on net length of non-commercial traders as well as net length of money managers and swap dealers as indicated in the disaggregated data for WTI , natural gas, gasoline, and heating oil. Non-commercial net length climbed in WTI and gasoline but declined in heating oil during the week ended December 13. Non-commercials decreased net length in WTI by 1.4k .....

STATS shows 1,863 active rigs as of December 16, 2011, down -4 rigs from a week ago. Oil rigs rose by +8 (ht: +4, vt-dir: +4) and gas rigs fell by -12 (ht: -4, vt-dir: -8).

U.S. crude oil inventories declined by -1,932k bbl in the week ending December 9, while Cushing stocks built +83k bbl. Distillate inventories increased by +480k bbl and gasoline inventories posted a gain of +3,824k bbl.
