U.S. crude oil inventories fell by -4715k bbl in the week ended December 17, while Cushing stocks increased by +1463k bbl. Distillate inventories rose by +396k bbl and gasoline inventories grew by +5533k bbl. Major data points: Crude oil inventories: Decreased by -4.72m bbl (vs. the API estimate of -3.63m bbl).
