Good morning, Please find below a recap of the DOE’s weekly crude stats and a link to our detailed tables. U.S. crude oil inventories declined by -4689k bbl in the week ended August 21, while Cushing stocks fell by -279k bbl. Distillate inventories increased by +1388k bbl and gasoline inventories declined by -4583k bbl. Major data points: Crude oil inventories: Fell by -4.69m bbl (vs. the API estimate of -4.52m bbl). Stocks in Cushing decreased by -0.28m bbl (vs. the API estimate of -0.65m bbl).....

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI, Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil , but decreased in WTI and Brent during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas fell by -0.5k to +278.5k in futures and increased by +5.0k .....

US: Baker Hughes shows 252 active rigs as of August 21, 2020, higher by +10 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +11 to 183 (ht: +8; vt-dir: +3), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 69 (ht: +6; vt-dir: -7). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +6 in Permian (TX), by +2 in Permian (NM) and by +2 in Other areas not .....
