Baker Hughes shows 403 active rigs as of May 20, 2016, lower by -2 from the previous week. Oil rigs were unchanged at 318 (ht: +1; vt-dir: -1), while gas-directed rigs decreased by -2 to 85 (ht: -2; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +4 in Anadarko (OK) and by +3 in Permian (TX), while declining by -2 in Anadarko (TX). Horizontal gas rigs declined by -1 in Eagle Ford (TX) and Granite Wash (OK), while increasing by +1 in Haynesville (LA).

U.S. crude oil inventories grew by +1310k bbl in the week ended May 13, while Cushing stocks rose by +461k bbl. Distillate inventories decreased by -3170k bbl and gasoline inventories declined by -2496k bbl. Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended May 10. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas and heating oil , but decreased in Brent, gasoline, gasoil and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas rose by +11.9k to +76.2k in futures and grew by +10.4k to +6.....

Baker Hughes shows 405 active rigs as of May 13, 2016, lower by -9 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -10 to 318 (ht: -5; vt-dir: -5), while gas-directed rigs increased by +1 to 87 (ht: +2; vt-dir: -1). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -3 in Permian (TX) and by -2 in Anadarko (OK). A horizontal gas rig has returned to Colorado after six months of no activity in the state, but there were no changes in any of the majors plays that we track.

June Crude loading programs in key regions are expected to recover from their May lows, with downside potential in WAF driven by unrest in Nigeria. Month-on-month North Sea and WAF loadings are up by +48 kb/d and +19 kb/d, respectively. Iraqi Basrah loadings are anticipated to jump to 3.47 mb/d, up by +387 kb/d MoM and +369 kb/d YoY while ESPO will drop by -106 kb/d MoM due to pipeline maintenance.
