Distillate inventories declined by -2503k bbl and gasoline inventories fell by -1142k bbl. Baker Hughes shows 889 active rigs as of May 08, 2015, lower by -12 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -11 to 668 (ht: -8; vt-dir: -3) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 221 (ht: +1; vt-dir: -2). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -4 to 79 in the Eagle Ford (TX) while the number of vertical/directional oil rigs remained unchanged at 48 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +1 to 31 in Marcellus ( SWPA ).

Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended April 28. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in heating oil, Brent and gasoline , but decreased in natural gas and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas declined by -28.3k to -88.1k in futures and decreased by -31.1k to -50.4k .....

Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -7 to 83 in the Eagle Ford (TX) and vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -6 to 48 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs decreased by -2 to 14 in Haynesville (LA).
