US: Baker Hughes shows 596 active rigs as of May 24, 2024, lower by -4 from the previous week. Oil rigs were unchanged at 497 (ht: -3; vt-dir: +3), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -4 to 99 (ht: -5; vt-dir: +1). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +1 in Permian (NM), while declining by -1 in Anadarko (OK), by -1 in Eagle Ford (TX), b.....

Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas, WTI, heating oil and gasoil , but decreased in Brent and gasoline during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas rose by +12.5k to +57.4k in futures and increase.....

Dear , The EIA reported a +78 bcf injection for the week ending May 16, 3 bcf less than our prediction of +81 bcf and 5 bcf less than Bloomberg’s median estimate of +83 bcf. Our models are currently showing storage activity of +76, +77, +60, +47, +32 and +19 bcf over the next six weeks for a total of +313 bcf, compared to +551 bcf for the same period last year and the five-year average of +533 bcf.

Dear , The EIA reported a +70 bcf injection for the week ending May 9, 2 bcf more than our prediction of +68 bcf and 7 bcf less than Bloomberg’s median estimate of +77 bcf. Our models are currently showing storage activity of +70, +73, +56, +42, +32 and +23 bcf over the next six weeks for a total of +295 bcf, compared to +572 bcf for the same period last year and the five-year average of +556 bcf.
