US: Baker Hughes shows 692 active rigs as of June 02, 2023, lower by -15 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -15 to 555 (ht: -14; vt-dir: -1), and gas-directed rigs were unchanged at 137 (ht: unch; vt-dir: unch). Dear , The EIA reported a +110 bcf injection, 2 bcf more than our call of +108 bcf and 3 bcf higher than Bloomberg’s median estimate of +107 bcf. Our models are currently showing storage activity of +119, +106, +79, +65, +54, and +47 bcf over the next six weeks for a total of +470 bcf, compared to +471 bcf for the same period last year and the five-year average of +469 bcf.
