We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI, Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas , but decreased in WTI, Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas grew by +11.2k to +314.4k in futures and increased by +22.9.....

US: Baker Hughes shows 251 active rigs as of September 11, 2020, lower by -2 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -1 to 180 (ht: -3; vt-dir: +2), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 71 (ht: -3; vt-dir: +2). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +1 in Anadarko (OK) and by +1 in Permian (TX), while declining by -2 in Permian .....

Dear , Note: This week's report includes extended EIA and Canadian storage tables. The EIA reported a +70 bcf build for the reference week , 2 bcf lower than our call of +72 bcf and 2 bcf higher than the Bloomberg median of +68 bcf. The damage sustained by the electrical grid in Southwestern Louisiana is impeding other industrial operations in the region, such as refineries around Lake Charles, from resuming operations. The damage will continue to affect the Gulf Coast into early October, eviden.....

Dear , The EIA reported a +35 bcf build for the reference week, 2 bcf higher than our call of +33 bcf and 1 bcf lower than the Bloomberg median of +36 bcf. As reports of the damage inflicted by Hurricane Laura came in, we focused on consumers of natural gas to estimate the extent of demand destruction. That caused us to be foolishly optimistic as it is the severe damage sustained by Entergy’s power transmission and distribution system that will ultimately determine the losses.
