Dear , The EIA reported a +70 bcf injection into inventory for the reference week, 3 bcf higher than our call of +67 bcf and 2 bcf below the Bloomberg median of +72 bcf. Starting mid-March, we had been attempting to quantify the impact of shelter-in-place orders on electricity demand using ISO data in an effort to link that drop in power demand to the pandemic’s impact on economic activity. We now have more granular data available as utilities started to report their 1Q20 results... Earlier this.....

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI, Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas, WTI and gasoil , but decreased in Brent, gasoline and heating oil during the reference week. US: Baker Hughes shows 463 active rigs as of April 24, 2020, lower by -64 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -60 to 378 (ht: -53; vt-dir: -7), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -4 to 85 (ht: -4; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -22 in Permian (TX), by -13 in Permian (NM), by -7 in Bakken (ND), by -6 in Eag.....

Our attempt to improve regional accuracy was ruined by a sizable miss in the East... Our previous set of balances published last week used the futures strip for WTI as guidance... EIA decided to discontinue weekly data of propylene stocks held at bulk terminals, and the new propane/proylene storage data begins with the data for the week ending January 2, 2015.
