The EIA reported a +49 bcf increase in inventories this week. The build was -8 bcf lower than our estimate and -10 bcf lower than the Bloomberg median. For the second week in a row our overestimate in South Central non-salts proved to be our undoing. Our early estimate for next week’s number is an injection near the high 50 bcf mark. On Tuesday, we expected the South Central would be the linchpin in this week’s forecast, we assumed the Sabine Pass outage would partially mitigate both stron.....

E: +23; MW: +27; MTN : +4; PAC : 0; SC: +3 (S:-8, NS: +11). There are currently 5 analysts reporting on Bloomberg with an average of +55 bcf. Over the next four weeks (incl. this week) we are anticipating +57, +59, +50, +64, for a total of +230 bcf, compared to last year’s +212 bcf and 5-yr average of +223 bcf. Total net exports averaged 5.27 b.....

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in gasoil and WTI , but decreased in Brent, gasoline, natural gas and heating oil during the reference week. US: Baker Hughes shows 933 active rigs as of August 09, 2019, lower by -8 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -6 to 764 (ht: unch; vt-dir: -6), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -2 to 169 (ht: -2; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +2 in Permian (NM), by +2 in Permian (TX) and by +1 in Anadarko (TX), while declining by -3 in Anadarko (OK), by -1 in Eagle Ford (TX) and by -1 in Other areas not associated with a specific play. Horizontal gas rigs increased by +1 in Granite.....

Please note our extended U.S. and Canada tables covering the injection season are included in the attachment. The EIA reported a +55 bcf increase in inventories this week. The build was -6 bcf lower than our estimate and -5 bcf lower than the Bloomberg median. Once again South Central non-salts were our undoing, coming in 5 bcf below our estimate. Our early estimate for next week’s number is an injection around the low 50 bcf mark. In Tuesday’s report we highlighted our uncertainty regar.....
