Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended April 09. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent, gasoline, gasoil, heating oil and WTI , but decreased in natural gas during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas declined by -12.3k to +175.4k in futures and decreased by -23.....

US: Baker Hughes shows 1022 active rigs as of April 12, 2019, lower by -3 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +2 to 833 (ht: -7; vt-dir: +9), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -5 to 189 (ht: -5; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -2 in Anadarko (OK), by -2 in Permian (TX), by -1 in Eagle Ford (TX), by -1 in Permian (NM) and by -1 in Other areas not associated with a specific play. Horizontal gas rigs increased by +2 in Marcellus ( SWPA ) and by +1 in Other areas not asso.....

Please note our extended U.S. and Canada tables covering the withdrawal season are included in the attachment. The EIA reported a +25 bcf increase in inventories this week. Recalcifications included in this week’s EIA report resulted in decreased working gas stocks in both the South Central Salts and Pacific; without the reclassifications the net change week over week would have been a +29 bcf build. This week’s reported injection was +11 bcf higher than both our estimate and the Bloomberg.....

E: 0; MW: -2; MTN : 0; PAC : +8; SC: +30 (S:+15, NS: +15). There are currently 8 analysts reporting on Bloomberg with an average of +29 bcf. For the next four weeks (incl. this week) we are anticipating draws of: +36, +104, +80, +110. Total net imports averaged -4.34 bcf/d, up by +0.16 bcf/d week-on-week. US: Baker Hughes shows 1025 active rigs as of April 05, 2019, higher by +19 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +15 to 831 (ht: +8; vt-dir: +7), and gas-directed rigs increased by +4 to 194 (ht: +2; vt-dir: +2). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +5 in Permian (TX), by +2 in Permian (NM) and by +1 in Bakken (ND). Horizontal gas rigs increased by +4 in Marcellus (WV), by +1 in Haynesville (TX) and by +1 in Marcellus ( NEPA ), while declining by -2 in Marcellus ( SWPA ) and by -2 in Other.....

The EIA reported a +23 bcf increase in inventories this week. This week’s injection was +5 bcf higher than our estimate and +13 bcf above the Bloomberg median. Our only significant miss this week was in the South Central where we underestimated injections by +6 bcf. Our initial estimate for the week ending April 4th is an injection in the high 20 bcf range. Fundamental factors including low ERCOT burns, Sabine Pass LNG maintenance and a drop in net flows on pipelines out of the region .....
