The EIA reported a -63 bcf decrease in inventory this week. This draw was +5 bcf more than our estimate and in line with the Bloomberg median. The region where we saw our largest miss this week was the Midwest where we underestimated draws by 5 bcf. Our initial estimate for the week ending December 6th is a draw in the mid to high 70s. US: Baker Hughes shows 1075 active rigs as of December 07, 2018, lower by -1 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -10 to 877 (ht: -8; vt-dir: -2), and gas-directed rigs increased by +9 to 198 (ht: +7; vt-dir: +2). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +1 in Permian (NM), while declining by -2 in Anadarko (OK), by -1 in Anadarko (TX), by -1 in Eagle Ford (TX), by -1 in Permian (TX) and by -4 in Other areas not associated with a specific play.
