The EIA reported a -1 bcf withdrawal for the week ending March 10, coming weaker than our own number at -9 bcf, and the Bloomberg median at -4 bcf. As we transition into shoulder season, some fields have started injecting, while others are still withdrawing at a significant pace. The big interstate systems are still withdrawing and it seems that they skewed our flow model towards a stronger withdrawal. Total net imports for the reference week averaged 0.89 bcf/d, lower by -0.83 bcf/d week-on-week. During the same week last year, U.S. net imports averaged 2.91 bcf/d. Average natural gas demand in the power sector was 23.2 bcf/d, lower by -0.9 bcf/d week-over-week. During the reference week, the contiguous US observed 66 electric-weighted HDDs, lower by -31 from the previous.....

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in gasoline, gasoil, heating oil and WTI , but decreased in Brent and natural gas during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas fell by -32.2k to -49.4k in futures and decreased by -28.1.....

Baker Hughes shows 480 active rigs as of March 11, 2016, lower by -9 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -6 to 386 (ht: -10; vt-dir: +4) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -3 to 94 (ht: -4; vt-dir: +1). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -5 in Permian (TX), -3 in Eagle Ford (TX), and -2 in Anadarko (OK) and Permian (NM) each. Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +1 in Marcellus ( NEPA ), dropped by -2 in Granite Wash (TX) and Granite Wash (OK) each.

The EIA reported a -57 bcf withdrawal for the week ending March 3, coming in-line with our own number at -58 bcf, and weaker than the Bloomberg median at -60 bcf. The nationwide withdrawal was quite close to expectations, especially compared to the previous two numbers, but regionally the Midwest draw was very tight on a weather adjusted basis as the South Central injected.
