US: Baker Hughes shows 761 active rigs as of September 16, 2022, higher by +4 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +8 to 599 (ht: +6; vt-dir: +2), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -4 to 162 (ht: -3; vt-dir: -1). Dear , The EIA reported a +77 bcf injection, 5 bcf more than our own estimate of +72 bcf and 4 bcf more than the Bloomberg median of +73 bcf. This report contains LCMC's updated balances for Summer 2022, Winter 2022/23, and Summer 2023. Our models are currently showing storage activity of +92, +78, +101, +113, +118, +114 bcf over the next six weeks for a total of +616 bcf, compared to +541 bcf for the same period last year and the five-year average of +466 bcf.
