Dear , The EIA reported a +18 bcf injection, 6 bcf less than our own estimate of +24 bcf and 13 bcf less than the Bloomberg median of +31 bcf. Our models are currently showing storage activity of +57, +51, +48, +82, +98, +104 bcf over the next six weeks for a total of +440 bcf, compared to +342 bcf for the same period last year and the five-year average of +397 bcf.

Non-commercials increased net length in heating oil , but decreased in natural gas, WTI, Brent, gasoline and gasoil during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas fell by -8.7k to +14.5k in futures and decreased.....

US: Baker Hughes shows 761 active rigs as of August 12, 2022, higher by +2 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +3 to 601 (ht: -3; vt-dir: +6), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 160 (ht: -1; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +1 in Anadarko (OK) and by +1 in Bakken (ND), while declining by -3 in Permia.....

Dear , The EIA reported a +44 bcf injection, equal to our own estimate and 4 bcf more than the Bloomberg median of +40 bcf. This report contains updated seasonal balances for Summer 2022 and Winter 2022/23, as well as monthly storage reports for US L48 and Canada. Our models are currently showing storage activity of +27, +52, +55, +72, +85, +95 bcf over the next six weeks for a total of +386 bcf, compared to +302 bcf for the same period last year and the five-year average of +367 bcf.
