Non-commercials increased net length in heating oil and gasoil , but decreased in natural gas, WTI, Brent and gasoline during the reference week. US: Baker Hughes shows 696 active rigs as of April 29, 2022, higher by +3 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +3 to 552 (ht: +4; vt-dir: -1), and gas-directed rigs were unchanged at 144 (ht: unch; vt-dir: unch). Dear , The EIA reported a +40 bcf injection, 2 bcf greater than our estimate of +38 bcf and the Bloomberg median of +38 bcf. Our models are currently showing storage activity of +64, +82, +94, +107, +111, +106 bcf over the next six weeks for a total of +564 bcf, compared to +501 bcf for the same period last year and the five-year average of +544 bcf.
