US: Baker Hughes shows 770 active rigs as of January 06, 2023, lower by -7 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -3 to 618 (ht: -2; vt-dir: -1), and gas-directed rigs decreased by -4 to 152 (ht: -4; vt-dir: unch). Dear , The EIA reported a -221 bcf withdrawal, 19 bcf less than the Bloomberg median -240 bcf. LCMC did not issue a storage estimate this week. Our models are currently showing storage activity of -2, -83, -89, -172, -165, -155 bcf over the next six weeks for a total of -666 bcf, compared to -1,261 bcf for the same period last year and the five-year average of -1,016 bcf.
