Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended June 28. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in gasoline, natural gas and gasoil , but decreased in Brent, heating oil and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas increased by +19.3k to +152.2k in futures and grew by +15.2.....

Baker Hughes shows 430 active rigs as of July 1, 2016, higher by +10 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +11 to 341 (ht: +8; vt-dir: +3), while gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 89 (ht: -1; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +4 in Permian (TX), by +3 in Anadarko (OK) and by +2 in Colorado. Horizontal gas rigs decreased by -1 in Haynesville (TX).

U.S. crude oil inventories declined by -4053k bbl in the week ended June 24, while Cushing stocks decreased by -951k bbl. Distillate inventories fell by -1801k bbl and gasoline inventories rose by +1367k bbl. Oil rigs decreased by -7 to 330 (ht: -1; vt-dir: -6), while gas-directed rigs increased by +4 to 90 (ht: unch; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -2 in Anadarko (OK), while increasing by +2 in Permian (TX). Vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -4 in areas of LA not associated with any major play.
