Baker Hughes shows 405 active rigs as of May 13, 2016, lower by -9 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -10 to 318 (ht: -5; vt-dir: -5), while gas-directed rigs increased by +1 to 87 (ht: +2; vt-dir: -1). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -3 in Permian (TX) and by -2 in Anadarko (OK). A horizontal gas rig has returned to Colorado after six months of no activity in the state, but there were no changes in any of the majors plays that we track.

June Crude loading programs in key regions are expected to recover from their May lows, with downside potential in WAF driven by unrest in Nigeria. Month-on-month North Sea and WAF loadings are up by +48 kb/d and +19 kb/d, respectively. Iraqi Basrah loadings are anticipated to jump to 3.47 mb/d, up by +387 kb/d MoM and +369 kb/d YoY while ESPO will drop by -106 kb/d MoM due to pipeline maintenance.

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in heating oil , but decreased in Brent, gasoline, natural gas, gasoil and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas decreased by -17.7k to +64.3k in futures and fell by -11.4k to .....
