Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended July 15. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials decreased net length in natural gas, heating oil, Brent, gasoline and WTI during the reference week. Baker Hughes shows 1,869 active rigs as of July 18, 2014, lower by -5 from the previous week. The number of oil rigs decreased by -9 to 1,554 (ht: +11; vt-dir: -20) while gas-directed rigs increased by +4 to 315 (ht: 0 ; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +7 to 223 in the Permian (TX) but decreased by -3 to 197 in the Eagle Ford (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +3 to 21 in Haynesville (LA).

Propane: US propane inventories increased by +3.2m bbl to 63.3m bbl for the week ended July 11, 2014. PADD 3 inventories increased +5%, or +1.6m bbl, to 35.6m bbl. U.S. crude oil inventories fell by -7525k bbl in the week ended July 11, while Cushing stocks decreased by -650k bbl. Distillate inventories rose by +2528k bbl and gasoline inventories increased by +171k bbl. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in gasoline , but decreased in natural gas, heating oil, Brent and WTI during the reference week. Oil rigs increased by +1 to 1,563 (ht: +7; vt-dir: -6) while the number of gas-directed rigs remained unchanged. (ht: +1; vt-dir: -1) Horizontal oil rigs increased by +3 to 200 in the Eagle Ford (TX) while vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -1 to 218 in the Permian (TX).
