Propane: US propane inventories increased by +1.75m bbl to 67.2m bbl for the week ended July 25, 2014. PADD 3 inventories increased +1%, or +374k bbl, to 36.4m bbl. PADD 2 stocks increased +4% or by +847k bbl to 22.4m bbl. In PADD 1, stocks increased +8% or +406k bbl to 5.7m bbl. Implied demand fell -9% to 946 kb/d; imports decreased -4% to 55 kb/d while production fell -1% to 1.58 mb/d last week. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in WTI , but decreased in natural gas, heating oil, Brent and gasoline during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas decreased by -28.0k to +192.3k in futures and fell by -19.4k to +301.8k in fut.....

Baker Hughes shows 1,880 active rigs as of July 25, 2014, higher by +11 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +8 to 1,562 (ht: +3; vt-dir: +5) while gas-directed rigs increased by +3 to 318 (ht: +2; vt-dir: +1). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +3 to 135 in the Anadarko (OK), but decreased by -5 in Eagle Ford (TX). Vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -1 to 210 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +2 to 15 in Granite Wash (TX).

The number of oil rigs decreased by -9 to 1,554 (ht: +11; vt-dir: -20) while gas-directed rigs increased by +4 to 315 (ht: 0 ; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +7 to 223 in the Permian (TX) but decreased by -3 to 197 in the Eagle Ford (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +3 to 21 in Haynesville (LA).
