Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended December 20. We focus on net length of non-commercial traders as well as net length of money managers and swap dealers as indicated in the disaggregated data for WTI , natural gas, gasoline, and heating oil. Non-commercial net length declined in WTI , gasoline and heating oil during the week ended December 20. Non-commercials decreased net length in WTI by 11.4k to 189.6k in .....

STATS shows 1,873 active rigs as of December 23, 2011, up +10 rigs from a week ago. Oil rigs rose by +10 (ht: +14, vt-dir: -4) and total gas rigs remained unchanged (ht: +4, vt-dir: -4).

U.S. crude oil inventories declined by -10.57m bbl in the week ending December 16, while Cushing stocks drew -990k bbl. Distillate inventories decreased by -2.35m bbl and gasoline inventories posted a draw of -412k bbl.
