EIA NG STORAGE REPORT The EIA reported a -71 bcf natural gas inventory build for the week ending March 4, a slightly smaller draw than consensus estimates (Bloomberg median -78 bcf) and well below the year-ago withdrawal (-112 bcf) as well as the 5yr average withdrawal (-107 bcf) due mostly to warmer weather. EIA NG STORAGE REPORT The EIA reported a -85 bcf storage withdrawal for the week ending February 25, in line with the Bloomberg median of -85 bcf but much smaller than the five-year average draw of -131 bcf and the year-ago draw of -124 bcf. This draw makes balances appear just slightly looser on both a year-ago and week-ago basis. This week’s withdrawal indicates that balances are much tighter on both a year-ago basis and compared to prior weeks during this heating season. Looking at weather, this draw appears largely in line with last year’s draw. EIA NG STORAGE REPORT The EIA reported a -135 bcf storage withdrawal for the week ending December 31, a slightly larger withdrawal than the Bloomberg median estimate of -131 bcf and the -79 bcf five-year average, but a smaller withdrawal than the year-ago -149 bcf draw.
