EIA reported a +69 bcf injection for the week ending August 20 (Bloomberg median +60 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +63 bcf). The 22 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +47 bcf to +65 bcf with a standard deviation of 5 bcf. Our model showed +62 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA increased by +1 HDD to 2 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days increased by +11 CDDs to 82 CDDs. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in gasoline and gasoil , but decreased in Brent, natural gas, heating oil and WTI during the reference week. Baker Hughes shows 885 active rigs as of August 21, 2015, higher by +2 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +3 to 675 (ht: +1; vt-dir: +2) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 210 (ht: unch; vt-dir: -1). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +2 in Anadarko (OK) and Bakken (ND), while declining by -2 in Eagle Ford (TX). Vertical/Directional oil rigs declined by -3 in Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +2 in Eagle Ford (TX).

The 21 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +50 bcf to +68 bcf with a standard deviation of 3 bcf. Our model showed +58 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA were unchanged at 1 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days decreased by -7 CDDs to 71 CDDs. Horizontal oil rigs increased by +7 in Permian (TX) and by +4 in Eagle Ford (TX), while declining by -3 in Bakken (ND) and Permian (NM). Vertical/Directional oil rigs declined by -6 in Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs declined by -3 in Eagle Ford (TX).

Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA increased by +1 HDD to 1 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days decreased by -10 CDDs to 78 CDDs.
