Distillate inventories grew by +29k bbl and gasoline inventories decreased by -869k bbl. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent, gasoil and WTI , but decreased in gasoline, natural gas and heating oil during the reference week. Baker Hughes shows 728 active rigs as of February 3, 2017, higher by +17 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +17 to 583 (ht: +16; vt-dir: +1), and gas-directed rigs was unchanged from 145 (ht: +1; vt-dir: -1). Announced OPEC and Non- OPEC production cuts were expected to go into effect on January 1, 2017. Production cuts may not immediately result in lower loading volumes, but market participants are closely monitoring 1H 2017 loadings.
