Horizontal oil rigs increased by +4 to 242 in Permian (TX), and gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +4 to 28 in Marcellus (WV).

Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -6 to 197 in Eagle Ford (TX) and vertical/directional oil rigs increased by +1 to 189 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +2 to 24 in Marcellus (WV).
