Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended April 14. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in heating oil, Brent and WTI , but decreased in natural gas and gasoline during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas decreased by -28.6k to -56.2k in futures and fell by -28.6k to -23.1k in f.....

Baker Hughes shows 951 active rigs as of April 17, 2015, lower by -34 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -26 to 734 (ht: -24; vt-dir: -2) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -8 to 217 (ht: -5; vt-dir: -3). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -5 to 82 in the Bakken (ND) and vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -2 to 55 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +1 to 14 in Haynesville (LA).

EIA reported a +63 bcf injection for the week ending April 9 (Bloomberg median +55 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +57 bcf). The 21 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +40 bcf to +66 bcf with a standard deviation of 8 bcf. Our model showed +60 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -22 to 94 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days increased by +6 CDDs to 12 CDDs. Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended April 07. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent, gasoline and WTI , but decreased in natural gas and heating oil during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas fell by -10.5k to -27.6k in futures and decreased by -9.5k to +5.4k in fut.....

Oil rigs decreased by -42 to 760 (ht: -30; vt-dir: -12) while gas-directed rigs increased by +3 to 225 (ht: +1; vt-dir: +2). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -9 to 99 in the Eagle Ford (TX) and vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -11 to 57 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs decreased by -2 to 13 in Haynesville (TX).

Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -15 to 116 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days were unchanged at 6 CDDs.
