Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended November 5. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials decreased net length in natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil during the reference week. Baker Hughes shows 1,748 active rigs as of November 8, 2013, higher by +12 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +7 to 1,383 (ht: +9; vt-dir: -2) and gas-directed rigs increased by +5 to 365 (ht: +1; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +9 to 143 in the Permian (TX) and by +5 to 177 Eagle Ford (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs fell by -2 to 15 in the Eagle Ford (TX) but increased by +1 to 19 and 16 in the Marcellus ( SWPA ) and Ohio, respectively.

Please note our extended U.S. and Canada tables covering the withdrawal season are included in the attachment. EIA reported a +35 bcf injection for the week ending November 1 (Bloomberg median +36 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +36). The 25 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +28 bcf to +47 bcf with a standard deviation of 5 bcf. Our model showed +34 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted HDDs increased by +10 to 102, while nationwide electricity-weighted cooling degree days reported by NO.....

Commitments of Traders Report – November 6, 2013
Today, the CFTC published its fifth Commitments of Traders ( COT ) report since the U.S. government shutdown. It includes data for reported date of October 29, and was originally scheduled to be published on November 1. As ICE data was published without interruption, today’s report includes all activity through October 29. The CFTC will resume its normal reporting schedule on November 8 when it publishes the November 5 dated report. Please find attached data and charts detailing the lat.....

In Focus: Gulf coast fractionation expansions Nearly 250 kb/d of fractionation capacity has come online at Mont Belvieu since September, including Enterprise’s train 7, Oneok’s MB-2, and recently a second Lone Star train. Enterprise hopes to bring an eighth, 100 kb/d train online before the end of the year. Baker Hughes shows 1,736 active rigs as of November 1, 2013, higher by +3 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +19 to 1,376 (ht: +14; vt-dir: +5) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -16 to 360 (ht: -10; vt-dir: -6). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +6 to 60 in areas of Texas not currently identified with an established resource play, and increased by +3 to 89 in the Anadarko (OK) and by +4 to 134 in the Permian (TX). EIA reported a +38 bcf injection for the week ending October 25 (Bloomberg median +33 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +34). The 25 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +27 bcf to +43 bcf with a standard deviation of 4 bcf. Our model showed +37 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted HDDs increased by +43 to 92, while nationwide electricity-weighted cooling degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -5 to 7 CDDs. Commitments of Traders Report - October 30, 2013
Today, the CFTC published its third Commitments of Traders ( COT ) report since the U.S. government shutdown. It includes data for reported date of October 15, and was originally scheduled to be published on October 18. As ICE data was published without interruption, today’s report includes all activity through October 15. The CFTC announced the following schedule for delayed reports as they become available: - October 22 and October 29 dated reports will be published week of November .....

In Focus: Northeast Processing and Blending update With MarkWest’s 320 mmcf/d Mobley plant in Wetzel County, Ohio, back in service this month after an outage in August, additional processing capacity in the region will come online by the end of the year, presenting producers with challenges and opportunities to meet residue pipeline specifications while maximizing gas and NGL output.
