Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended March 24. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent , but decreased in natural gas, heating oil, gasoline and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas declined by -17.5k to -5.5k in futures and decreased by -17.2k to +41.9k in f.....

Baker Hughes shows 1,046 active rigs as of March 27, 2015, lower by -21 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -12 to 813 (ht: -13; vt-dir: +1) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -9 to 233 (ht: -4; vt-dir: -5). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -4 to 152 while vertical/directional oil rigs increased by +4 to 70 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +1 to 31 in Marcellus ( SWPA ).

EIA reported a +12 bcf injection for the week ending March 19 (Bloomberg median +8 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +9 bcf). The 25 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from -21 bcf to +25 bcf with a standard deviation of 10 bcf. Our model showed +4 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -45 to 109 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days increased by +4 CDDs to 7 CDDs. Commitments of Traders Report – March 23, 2015

Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended March 17. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas , but decreased in heating oil, Brent, gasoline and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas increased by +13.6k to +12.0k in futures and rose by +13.1k to +59.1k in futu.....

Oil rigs decreased by -41 to 825 (ht: -21; vt-dir: -20) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -15 to 242 (ht: +1; vt-dir: -16). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -13 to 156 and vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -2 to 66 in the Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +2 to 30 in Marcellus ( SWPA ).

EIA reported a -45 bcf withdrawal for the week ending March 12 (Bloomberg median -50 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: -50 bcf). The 25 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from -60 bcf to -30 bcf with a standard deviation of 7 bcf. Our model showed -53 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -84 to 154 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days were unchanged at 3 CDDs.
