Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended June 16. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in gasoline, natural gas, heating oil and WTI , but decreased in Brent and gasoil during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas rose by +28.2k to -26.2k in futures and grew by +29.1k to +.....

Baker Hughes shows 854 active rigs as of June 19, 2015, lower by -2 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -4 to 631 (ht: -3; vt-dir: -1) while gas-directed rigs increased by +2 to 223 (ht: +2; vt-dir: unch). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -3 to 72 in Eagle Ford (TX) and by -2 to 31 in Permian (NM). Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +2 to 18 in Eagle Ford (TX).

CORRECTION: June 18, 2015

The date of this week’s report was accidentally published as June 11, 2015. This update corrects that error. There are no other changes. EIA reported an +89 bcf injection for the week ending June 11 (Bloomberg median +93 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +91 bcf). The 21 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +84 bcf to +104 bcf with a standard deviation of 4 bcf. Our model showed +91 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -16 HDDs to 5 HDDs, whil.....

Baker Hughes shows 856 active rigs as of June 12, 2015, lower by -8 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -7 to 635 (ht: -8; vt-dir: +1) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -1 to 221 (ht: -2; vt-dir: +1). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -3 to 75 in Eagle Ford (TX) and by -2 to 33 in Permian (NM). Gas-directed horizontal rigs decreased by -1 to 14 in Marcellus (WV).

EIA reported a +111 bcf injection for the week ending June 4 (Bloomberg median +113 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +115 bcf). The 18 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +111 bcf to +119 bcf with a standard deviation of 2 bcf. Our model showed +116 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA were unchanged at 21 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days increased by +2 CDDs to 34 CDDs. Total US: +111 bcf ( LCMC : +116 bcf, Bloomberg median: +113 bc.....
