EIA reported a +32 bcf injection for the week ending July 30 (Bloomberg median +40 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: +40 bcf). The 24 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +37 bcf to +55 bcf with a standard deviation of 4 bcf. Our model showed +39 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -1 HDD to 0 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days increased by +5 CDDs to 88 CDDs. Total US: +32 bcf ( LCMC : +39 bcf, Bloomberg median: +40 bcf).....

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas, heating oil and WTI , but decreased in gasoline , and unchanged in Brent and Brent during the reference week. Baker Hughes shows 873 active rigs as of July 31, 2015, lower by -2 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +5 to 664 (ht: +4; vt-dir: +1) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -7 to 209 (ht: -2; vt-dir: -5). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +2 in Permian (NM) and by +1 in Permian (TX). Gas-directed horizontal rigs decreased by -2 in Marcellus ( SWPA ) and Eagle Ford (TX).

The 17 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +48 bcf to +59 bcf with a standard deviation of 2 bcf. Our model showed +55 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA were unchanged at 1 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days increased by +9 CDDs to 83 CDDs. Oil rigs increased by +21 to 659 (ht: +10; vt-dir: +11) while gas-directed rigs decreased by -2 to 216 (ht: +4; vt-dir: -2). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +3 in Eagle Ford (TX) and by +2 in Anadarko (OK), Anadarko (TX) and Permian (NM). Vertical/Directional oil rigs increased by +5 in areas of LA not associated with any specific play and by +5 in TX. Gas-directed horizontal rigs increased by +2 to 14.....

The 20 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +64 bcf to +82 bcf with a standard deviation of 5 bcf. Our model showed +66 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted heating degree days reported by NOAA decreased by -3 HDDs to 1 HDDs, while electricity-weighted cooling degree days increased by +8 CDDs to 74 CDDs.
