Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended December 06. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent, gasoline, natural gas, gasoil, heating oil and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas grew by +49.3k to +303.3k in futures and increased by +41.5k to +329.1k in f.....

Baker Hughes shows 623 active rigs as of December 9, 2016, higher by +27 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +21 to 498 (ht: +16; vt-dir: +5), and gas-directed rigs increased by +6 to 125 (ht: +2; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +4 in Permian (TX), while vertical rigs increased by +6. The EIA reported a -42 bcf withdrawal for the week ending December 1, a larger inventory drop than our estimate of -39 bcf and in line with the Bloomberg median. Our regional models performed reasonably well, with the Mountain region giving the largest error (+1 bcf vs. -2 bcf reported). This was the second week in a row where the standard deviation in the estimates submitted to Bloomberg was 9 bcf. Total net imports for the reference week averaged -0.67 bcf/d, higher by +0.02 bcf/d week-on-week. During the same week last year, U.S. net imports averaged 1.99 bcf/d. Average natural gas demand in the power sector was 21.2 bcf/d, lower by -0.4 bcf/d week-over-week. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent, gasoline, natural gas, heating oil and WTI , but decreased in gasoil during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas rose by +22.7k to +254.0k in futures and grew by +24.9k to.....

Baker Hughes shows 596 active rigs as of December 2, 2016, higher by +4 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +3 to 477 (ht: +8; vt-dir: -5), and gas-directed rigs increased by +1 to 119 (ht: +2; vt-dir: -1). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +8 in Permian (TX), by +2 in Anadarko (OK), by +2 Eagle Ford (TX) and by +1 Monterey (CA), while decreasing by -2 in Bakken (ND), by -1 in Permian (NM) and by -2 in Other.
